He is the tallest basketball player in NBA today with a height of 7 feet and 6 inches, Yao Ming is one of NBA's supreme player. Most of the time he is termed by his petname such as The (Ming) Dynasty, Chairman Yao, and Great Wall (of Yao), Yao Ming was born in Shanghai, China on the 12th of September 1980.

Yao Ming opened his career at 17 as a player for the Chinese Basketball Association or CBA, and did very well during his learner years. At 20, he was already a Most Valuable Player and his stupendous performances made him become a accomplice to several international competitions like the Summer Olympics 2000 in Sydney.

He left CBA after five years to join up the NBA draft in 2002 when he turned 22, the authorized age for international payers. But as he left CBA, he also left wonderful basketball records such as most blocks in a game, most blocks in a season, most blocks in a career, and most dunks in a career, and still holding the profile up to these days.During the NBA draft camp, he astounded NBA scouts with his outstanding exhibitions, then eventually landed a position in the team, Houston Rockets. Since then, he illustrated to the world that the Great Wall is also a notable player.
