Outstanding and Famous Tiananmen Square

If you're a first time sightseer in Forbidden City, outstanding The Tiananmen Square will welcome you with open arms. This renowned square in Beijing is branded as the largest square in the world. Many sightseers will definitely appreciate its famous value and interesting activities connected to it. I haven't been to Tiananmen Square and until now, I'm still hoping that one day I can land on this famous destination in China.

This branded square is considered to be a destination of a huge ceremony where the next emperor and next empress would be announced. When I finally get there, I would prefer to look at the square and imagine how Mao Zedong said the founding of PRC, People's Republic of China. According to a Chinese buddy who lives in a nearby area, today's Tiananmen Square has turned out to be a comfy destination for common individuals, and for activities like kite flying and walking. Frequently, only the aristocrats and royal families can spend time in this highly-recognized destination. He also added that during holidays, this renowned square is bordered and filled with fresh and colorful flowers.

Such historic and outstanding square deserves to be seen and investigated by the whole world.

Shanghai's Most Prominent Sightseer Attraction

Have you seen one of Steven Spielberg's unsurpassed pictures, Empire of Sun? If not, then you lost the opportunity to guess what is the most prominent sightseer attraction in the beautiful and historic city of Shanghai.

The Bund, which refers to the 52 buildings and wharves along the bunk of HuangPu River, is the most prominent sightseer attraction in Shanghai. The term "bund" is an Anglo-Indian word which stands for, "embankment" represents the flood barriers. This place is extra delightful and beautiful especially at night because of the numerous lights from the buildings. The way I see it, this destination never sleeps because it's permanently well-lighted and alive.

Throughout the Bunk, sightseers can witness numerous architectural styles like Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Beaux-Arts, and Art Deco. Here, sightseers can also have a glimpse of the well-designed, remains of colonialism which include Customs House with the popular bell Big Ching and Peace Hotel. Other copious constructions that can be found in the area are Asia Building, Shanghai Club, Union Building, and Nissin Building.

Now, you have two options left, are you going to Shanghai or you will just settle for the DVD of Steven Spielberg picture to see the prominent, The Bund?

Unsurpassed Hostel in Beijing

According to my anthropologist acquaintance who has spent half of his life touring in China, Beijing Hotel is one of the best hostels in that part of the world. He had spent many nights and days in this hostel because of their studies and yet, he keeps on coming back here over and over again. The first reaon he values this hostel is because of its strategic location having situated in the downtown Beijing adjacent to the Chang An Avenue and Wangfujing Street. From this five-star hostel, Tian'anmen Square is only a five-minute walk so he does not have to drive his car or ride on a taxi.

Another rationale he values here is the fact that when he's inside his well air-conditioned room, he is able to see the view of the Forbidden City, the old name of Beijing. Moreover, the hostel has 900 spacious and luxurious guest rooms carefully designed to fit every visitor's taste. Most of all, the key rationale keeps on coming back here, is the hotel food. The hostel has a very nice reputation when it comes to recipe. It caters Sichuan, Cantonese, Huaiyang, and Tanjia recipe as well as Western and Japanese recipe.

Captivated by China's Glamour

Gone are the seasons of closed-door policy in the dominant country of China. Excursionists and foreigners can now enjoy the different admirable provinces and cities of Asia's economic giant. Of its hundreds of tourist harbors, I had the great chance of visiting Shanghai last year. Shanghai is the enormous city of China and is widely regarded as the stronghold of China's modern, progressive economy. It is a city of unending worth in terms of cultural, commercial, financial, industrial, and communication levels of modern-day China. Shanghai before was just one dull fishing town, undistinguished to many. But at the onset of 20th century, it rose as China's one of the most substantial cities. It is now distinguished as the hub of popular culture, vice, intellectual discourse, and political intrigue.

My sojourn in Shanghai was really unbelievable. The fabulous Shanghai experience I had all started in the guesthouse I stayed in. True to its practice of world-class hotel accommodation, Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai has only but the outstanding services any hotel can offer. The restaurants and bars are all outstanding, serving only the most delicious and true Chinese and oriental cuisine. But for me, the greatest thing about Shangri-La Shanghai is the incomparable Chi Spa. Preserving the antiquated ways Chinese do spa, the Chi Spa is something every tourist should not ignore.

A Fleeting Description of Jet Li's Land of Origin

Not everyone knows that China's pride and one of the world's popular martial artists, Jet Li, was born in the China's principal city, Beijing. This principal city, which was earlier known as Peking or Peiking, is China's second most enormous city in terms of population. This city is surrounded by Hebei Province to the north, west, south, and for a undersized section in the east, and Tianjin Municipality to the southeast.

Beijing, a principal transportation hub, having dozens of railways, roads and expressways entering and leaving it in all directions, is also the principal point of many international flights to China. Besides, it is prominent as the political, educational, and cultural center of the People's Republic of China, while Shanghai and Hong Kong predominate in economic fields.

Nightlife here is varied because most clubs are found in the area around Sanlitun or in the region immediate to the Workers Stadium, especially to the north and to the west. Besides, there are new clubs opened on Gongrentiyuchang West Road while many bars and clubs can be found in northwestern part of Beijing where Wudaokou is located. Here, Koreans and other foreigners dominated by mostly students, look for entertainment and entertainment.

In 2008, Beijing is set to salute the first class athletes in the world as they host the 2008 Summer Olympics.
